Steve has clarified the changes on AdVentures4U to some extent.  Here is his clarification e-mail in case you didn't see it:

Good morning, someone told me that all the newsletters is confusing members.

Ok short and sweet, we are revenue sharing all our profits and earnings from the beginning to the members that are not in profit.

Then we are going to a Revenue share on the other income only. You will still need to surf to share in that Revenue.

Does that make sense? We are going Private and will not let anyone else in the program.

I hope this will Help all Members understand what we are doing.

I want to make sure that everyone knows were the cashout button is. The cashout button is on the tools page. If you used the old button on the purchase venture page you will need to go back and request your cashout on the tools page.

We are expecting to cashout allot of earning this week, we will be going thru one by one and getting this done so I figure that it will take until Friday to complete.

We will do the cashout, do not worry please. We are selling a ton of advertising and gold is unbelievable at this stage.

Please give us until Friday so that we can prove that we are not here to do the wrong things.

It is not what I say or write that make you happy, it is the actions I take to move the buiness forward.

Most members are taking 'in profit' to mean that one has withdrawn more than one's 'out of pocket' investments, but it's not crystal clear.

In addition, I think he is saying that the revenue share from the purchase of Ventures is ending and now the revenue share will be solely from 'other income' like the new Gold site.

This will presumably mean that the standard 14% a week rebate has gone and will be replaced by a revenue share that will be somewhat less than the 14% initially but as the other income builds it will grow and hopefully approach the old figure. 

I also presume that our existing Ventures stay intact, but it is not clear if we can add to them using our revenue share or new money.  Hopefully this will soon be made clear.

The 'Final Cash out' button is available in your back office for those that are not yet in profit.  Click on 'tools' and look for the notice with the light yellow backgound half way down the page, and click on the blue 'Click here' to get to the the 'Final cash out' page.  But use it only if you are not yet 'in profit'.

It's vital that you include ALL the information asked for: full postal address, AV4U account username, the e-mail address you use for AV4U.  And in the payment Processor box you must state the processor type, e.g STP, Alertpay etc as well as giving the approriate payment processor username or account number or e-mail address so that Steve can send the funds to your account.

Tazoodle have announced the following changes to their terms and incentives.

 

So what does that mean for the 200+ who signed up under me this week? 

 1.  Free members will no longer earn commission, but in 80 days time, after launch they can earn from searches.

 2.  Those that purchase at least $100 of credits before 1st September will continue to receive 200% commissions, whereas those who delay their purchase can only earn 100% commission.

AdVentures4U hits problems - halt called on revenue sharing?

Most AV4U members are probably very confused at the moment!  We have been hit with a barrage of confusing updates from Steve Smith the admin of AV4U in the last 24 hours and Steve by his own admission is not very good at sending out coherent e-mails!

So what are we to make of all this?  To me it would appear that Steve is in a very stressed state, being hit by hackers and  threats on his family at the same time as a major software upgrade, launching a new new program (the gold site) and not having had any sleep for at least 2 days!  What we are witnessing is knee-jerk reaction to overwhelming problems.

Running an on-line program is not an easy task, especially if it grows exponentially as AV4U has over the last 6 months or so.

My advice to members of AV4U is to try to appreciate what Steve has built for us and the problems he is facing at the moment and to stay calm and not panic, that will only make matters worse!  He already has far too many support tickets to deal with, the majority of which should never have been raised, so don't add to this problem.

Over the next week it will probably become clearer what Steve really wants to do with AV4U, but he needs some rest and breathing space to work this out.  At the moment he just has too many problems to cope with, that it must feel like being in a runaway juggernaut and calling a halt to the revenue sharing is Steve's way of trying to suddenly apply the emergency brakes, rather than taking one's foot of the accelerator and applying the brakes in a controlled way!

Currently he appears to be offering a cash-out to those who are not yet in profit, although he hasn't defined exactly what 'in-profit' really means and we have no access to a full account history to work it out!

As I said things will hopefully become clearer during the week and at the moment we need to stay calm and supportive of Steve as he tries to sort things out.
