Traffic Exchange Strategies and TechniquesHaving been involved with a number of Traffic Exchange and surfing programs over the last two years, I use a number of successful strategies and techniques to reduce risk, maximise profit and reduce my surfing time.
I am not saying the strategies and techniques are the best ones, but they work well for me.
Strategies
1. Select programs that have either a variable daily % yield, based on % revenue, or a fixed % yield that is realistic like 1% or 2% a day. These programs should last a long time, especially when they are backed up with some form of underlying investments.
2. Fund with a reasonable amount of seed money, something you can easily afford, but never more than 20% of your available funds. Ideally take advantage of any bonuses that may be on offer.
3. Aim to recover the seed money quickly, just in case things don't work out. Aim for a few months. This means withdrawing your daily yield initially and advertising your referral URL on, for example, your other traffic exchange programs to bring in referral commission.
4. When you have recovered your seed money or are near to doing so, you can compound a % of your daily earnings. 50% is popular. Some advocate 80%. I tend to go for 50% compounding, but also take advantage of any bonuses that are available from time to time.
Techniques
If you are involved with a number of these programs it can be very time consuming and frankly exeedingly boring viewing, for example, 25 sites for 25 seconds in each of of 5 or 6 programs. There is also the worry of picking up viruses and other nasties. These are the techniques i use.
1. Install the latest anti-virus and anti-spyware software on your PC and use firewall protection.
2. For surfing, use Firefox and not IE. You usually get a much better surfing experience with Firefox and a lot of the nasties are aimed at IE and not Firefox.
3. Bookmark the surfing programs and use the 'Recently bookmarked' facility of Firefox to load all of your surfing programs at once in separate tabs. This means that you can flick from one surfing program to the next by clicking on the appropriate tab.
4. Log in to each program in turn and start surfing. You are, of course, duty bound to look at each ad for the correct amount of time, but if the URL doesn't come up or it's a program you are already in, you can go straight to the next program and carry on surfing on that. This saves a lot of time and I can usually do all my surfing for 6 or 7 programs in 30 or 40 minutes.
5. Some sites have a habit of 'breaking-frame' when they are surfed, so that the site fills the sceen and the surfing mechanism is hidden. If this happens right click on the offending page and click 'back' which usually gets you back to surfing correctly.
6. Adding an additional tab is easy. Hold down the control key when you select a new surfing program site.
